· EFLM-Roche Scientific Award for Laboratory Medicine

· EFLM – Abbott Diagnostics Award for Excellence in Outcomes Research in Laboratory Medicine

· Elas-Forum Poster Award*

The European Ligand Assay Society Forum (Elas-Forum) award is an annual prize of 1000€ to scientists in clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine for a contribution made to the field of ligand assays.
This award is given to the best poster, as judged by an independent panel of experts, dedicated to the development or the validation of a laboratory ligand assay potentially clinically useful in endocrinology or oncology.
The Award is addressed to laboratory physicians, biologists, and other personnel aged ≤ 40  years on December 31, 2014, working in public or private institutions.

*Elas-Forum is a European association of scientific societies (ELAS Italia – Société Française de Médecine Nucléaire, CORATA, Royal Belgian Society of Clinical Chemistry, Collège National de Biochimie des Hôpitaux) for the development and the promotion of scientific research in the field of ligand assays.

· EFLM bursary programme to attend the EuroMedLab 2015 Congress in Paris!

EFLM is promoting 10 bursaries for young scientists attending the:

21st IFCC-EFLM EuroMedLab Congress
21-25 June 2015 – Paris


The bursaries will cover the cost of the travel and 4-night accommodation for a maximum of Eur 900 and the registration fee will be kindly offered by the local Congress Organizing Committee.

Eligible candidates must come from an EFLM Member Society and meet the following criteria:
» Young participants (≤40y at the date of the conference);
» Having a poster abstract accepted.

Applications must be submitted through the proper form (click here to downloaded it) and accompanied with:
1) Copy of the ID or passport,
2) Document proving the membership to the National Society,
3) Notification of poster acceptance (notification of abstract acceptance/rejection will be sent by the congress organizers by March 31).

· IFCC Travel Scholarships

IFCC is pleased to offer a limited number of Travel Scholarships for the participation of Young Scientists to the IFCC EuroMedLab 2015 to be held in Paris. Applicants should be from a developing country and less than 40y of age on 1 January 2015. Priority will be given to persons submitting an abstract. The IFCC Travel Scholarship will provide funding towards the cost of economy travel and accommodation. In addition, scholarship recipients will receive free registration from the Congress Organising Committee. Applicants will be required to complete the application form that can be obtained from the IFCC Office (ifcc@ifcc.org). Application should be submitted to the IFCC Office within: 26 February 2015.
